As a minimum, a maintenance agreement provides reassurance of knowing that a service technician is available when needed. Some users are content with a simple annual agreement which provides for the availability of a technician within a given timeframe. Others prefer a more comprehensive service. We address all needs.
An agreement may include any of (but not limited to) the following:
- 24 hours a day coverage
- Varying response time 4, 8 or NBD
- Battery coverage
- Off-hours maintenance visits
- Time and materials services
- Routine preventative maintenance visits
- Specifically tailored services available
Without a maintenance agreement, getting service for a UPS or Generator can be something of a lottery. Who do you call for the best service?
As a manufacturer-independent service provider we can offer repair services for most brands of UPS, following an initial diagnosis. Sometimes this can be done by asking a few simple questions, sometimes by making a site visit. Our relationships with major UPS suppliers enable us to provide replacement parts in a timely manner if required. Not all problems are major and not all are expensive. Many corrective actions can extend the life of a unit by years.
Not all standby power installations are mission-critical and not all require a guaranteed up-time of 24 hours a day. In these instances, some customers prefer preventative maintenance visits to catch potential problems before they occur.
We can arrange the visit to suit you. If you have more than one unit at the same site, we can make our visit more cost effective by checking multiple units while we are present.
Being manufacturer-independent, we can check units from a wide range of manufacturers, including obsolete models.
